Am Frangach Fosgailte (The French Open)

This basket is French in origin. It takes a long time to make, and even longer to make it proficiently. It contains a complex weave called ‘fitching’, and despite it’s open style, it is still very strong, and very beautiful. I will be making more and more in this style, so grab a bargain while I’m still polishing my techniques. Featuring almost entirely Dicky Meadows willow, with the exception of some Harrisons in the base sticks.
